Terms of Service

1. The service

Lumielle lets an Organizer collect photos for one Wedding, present eligible photos on a live slideshow, and provide a private Album of eligible, metadata-stripped safe renditions to people given the Wedding’s separate Album link. The same Album access can retrieve eligible guest Originals through bounded ZIP parts when enabled, or through individually authorized downloads when ZIP parts are unavailable. Guests do not need an account. Internet access is required, and a photo is safe only when Lumielle labels it Delivered.

2. Guest contributions

When a guest affirmatively agrees and contributes a photo, the photo goes to the couple’s private collection, is eligible for their future Album, and may appear on the Wedding’s live slideshow. Lumielle can provide eligible safe renditions through a private Album link; it does not expose private Originals. The private Original may retain metadata supplied by the guest’s browser or device. Display is not guaranteed and may occur without prior Organizer review when the contribution screen says so.

You keep ownership of your photo. You authorize Lumielle to store, process, reproduce, create display renditions of, show during the Wedding, and deliver the photo to the Wedding’s Organizer and couple solely to operate the service and enforce these Terms. This authorization ends when the photo is removed, except for minimal records needed to prove the removal or comply with law.

3. Your responsibilities

Do not contribute or use Lumielle for content that:

• you do not have the right to share for the uses disclosed above;
• is unlawful, threatening, abusive, exploitative, or intentionally invasive;
• infringes copyright, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
• contains malware or is intended to disrupt or bypass the service; or
• depicts sexual exploitation of a child or other illegal content.

Organizers are responsible for protecting Wedding access links, choosing an appropriate display mode, moderating the slideshow, and responding to concerns about their Wedding.

4. Removal and enforcement

A guest can permanently remove their own Contribution from the same browser using Your photos — view or remove. Lumielle may hide, remove, preserve, or disclose content when reasonably necessary to operate the service, protect people or the service, respond to a valid legal request, or enforce these Terms. 5. Availability, retention, and changes

Mobile browsers, devices, venue connectivity, and third-party services can fail. Lumielle does not promise background delivery after a page closes or permanent storage. Under the retention schedule, Wedding photos are removed 60 days after the Contribution window closes, with earlier removal for guest Retraction or other valid takedown.

Material changes to the guest disclosure use a new disclosure version and require a new affirmative acceptance. Changes to these Terms will be posted with a new effective date.
